Great News! Members pool training is now available for booking!

IMPORTANT INFO: Please Read before booking or attending any training sessions

Freediving New Zealand Training Guidelines

Please read the new FNZ training guidelines before booking:

NZ Government Contact Tracing

We all need to check in and out of the pools for Govt. contact tracing. This is done securely on your smart phone via checkin-19.com. Scan the QR code at the pool (see https://checkin-19.com/how-to for more information).

Book Your Training

With spaces limited under Level 2 guidelines, all training space MUST be booked via the website.

Go ahead, request as much as you want. Senior club members will be monitoring the booking requests and if demand exceeds space available we will try to find more pool space or times to reserve.

Confirmations will be sent starting 2 days prior to the scheduled straining session, so book now or risk missing out.

Current Training Availability

Currently both AUT and Panmure pools are open, but check the events page for latest updates. As per the FNZ guidelines above, we are limited to 4 divers per lane, so you MUST book your place to train.

We have currently reserved 2 lanes each at our normal training times, but to get an idea for demand, please book your space now and if there is demand we will look at booking additional lanes/days:

  • Panmure: Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm
  • AUT: Thursdays 7-8:30pm

Booking Etiquette

We don't know what demand looks like until you book, so even if the event you want looks full, request a space so we know how many people were interested and leave a note in the comments with your availability, ideas or preferences.

Please be considerate and only request what you can attend. Cancel your booking if you are unable to attend.

The club committee will confirm your booking and assign them as fairly as they can to ensure all our members have access to training. The aim is to confirm bookings 2 days before the training, and spaces will be allocated first come first served with preference given to members who missed out on training the week prior. Get in now!
