Lake Pupuke
You must be a paid member of The Auckland Freediving Club who has completed a pool induction first.
In order to train at Lake Pupuke, all AFC members must first complete a Lake Induction. Inductions are limited to 4 divers per rig, so you MUST book your space. In order to complete a Lake Induction, you must:
- Book a space on this event
- Review lake training information and safety documents here
- Bring Depth Lanyard*, Mask, Fins (preferably full foot), Snorkel, Weight Belt, Wetsuit (5mm recommended), Towel
It is possible you will need to complete the induction over more than 1 week. You will need to book each date separately. Once you have completed a Lake Induction you will need to fill in the Lake Induction Completion form (see safety documents link above) in order to continue lake training with the club.
*Depth lanyard can be purchased when you book this event for $50 bond. If you return the lanyard (in good condition) after your induction you will get your bond back.
Mask torch will be provided to all Full Year AFC members who complete Lake Induction for the first time.
