We're so glad to be back in Level 1 and training as usual! Since there has been a lot of changes recently, I'd like to put out a little reminder how training with AFC works at the moment.

Level 1 reminders

We currently don't have any cases of Covid-19 in the community, fortunately, but if there is another resurgence, we don't want it to be in our club. Diving and lung infections don't mix.

  1. Stay at home if you're sick and get a test. Don't come to training if you're experiencing cold or flu symptoms.
  2. Keep up good handwashing practices, using soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and drying thoroughly.
  3. Cough and sneeze into your elbow.
  4. Keep track of where you've been. You can sign in with the NZ Tracer app at pools and at our own QR code poster in the container at the lake.
  5. Practice physical distancing where possible.

Inductions

We are continuing our pool and lake inductions.

  1. Our pool inductions are held on Mondays at Tepid Baths over the course of a month. There is currently a backlog of people wanting to do inductions. To get a spot on the next available pool induction, sign up through the website here.
  2. Lake inductions are happening every Thursday at Lake Pukupe, for paid members who have completed their pool induction. Learn more here.  We are now offering lanyards for hire (they are still being made). Sign up here.

Depth training sessions
